1. When is the best time of year for a youth retreat in Hendersonville?

Each season in Hendersonville offers unique retreat opportunities:

  • Fall (September-November): Spectacular foliage, comfortable temperatures (50-70°F), and apple season make this our most popular retreat season. Book well in advance for fall dates.

  • Spring (April-May): Wildflowers bloom, temperatures warm (60-75°F), and waterfalls run full. Perfect for outdoor activities with fewer crowds than summer.
  • Summer (June-August): Warmer temperatures (75-85°F) allow for full lake activities, though availability is limited due to our summer camp programs. Camp Tekoa does not offer summer rentals.
