The Big Zip Experience

Feel the rush as you launch from our 45-foot tower and zip more than 250 feet up the mountain on our double zip-line system. The Big Zip offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and provides an unforgettable thrill that builds confidence through conquering fears.

High Ropes Adventure

Our 35-foot High Ropes Course challenges participants with personal growth and adventure as they navigate obstacles like the Pirate's Crossing, Plank Walk, Charlie Chaplin, and Jungle Swings. The experience culminates with the exhilarating 70-foot Giant Swing - easily our most thrilling on-site activity.

Lake Adventure Package

Experience our beautiful 3-acre spring-fed lake through a variety of water adventures. Participants can swim in the shallow end, dive off the high dive, slip down the slide, or brave our popular Lake Zipline. Canoes and paddle boats are also available for exploring the peaceful waters.

Team Challenge Course

Our Low Elements Challenge Course offers a variety of team-building activities designed to foster group cohesion and communication. Elements include Low Ropes, PJ and J Log, Dinosaur Feet, Whale Watch, The Maze, Spider Web, and more. These challenges can be facilitated by Camp Tekoa staff to maximize growth opportunities for your team.

Camp Tekoa offers comfortable accommodations for groups of 20-300 in our many clean and welcoming lodges and cabins. During warmer months (mid-April to mid-October), we can accommodate up to 285 guests across 12 buildings. In colder months, our heated facilities provide cozy accommodations for up to 199 guests.

For a unique experience, consider our Adventure Base with 64 beds in four adventure glamping shelters, located near Thrushwood Lodge with high-capacity full-service restrooms.

Meeting & Dining Spaces

Our facilities include multiple meeting spaces to accommodate groups of various sizes:

  • The cozy Dining Hall seats 185 and can be configured in various arrangements
  • Laurel Main provides space for up to 75 people
  • Our beautiful Open-Air Pavilion is ideal for worship, campfires, and active games
  • The Chapel in the Woods seats 100 in a serene natural setting
  • Laurel Back Porch accommodates up to 60 people and features rocking chairs and a campfire area

Our commercial kitchen is equipped with propane stoves, convection ovens, warmers, and industrial sinks. Groups can prepare their own meals or take advantage of our food service available for 50-200 people.

  • Fall (September-November): Our most popular retreat season features comfortable temperatures and spectacular foliage. Perfect for ziplining, climbing, and hiking experiences.
  • Winter (December-February): Cozy accommodations and indoor adventure options keep the excitement going during cooler months. Nearby skiing and snow tubing add seasonal adventure options.

Group Sizes & Requirements

Camp Tekoa can accommodate groups ranging from 20-300 people, with flexible options for various group sizes. Our adventure activities work best with 8-15 participants per rotation, with multiple rotations possible for larger groups.

How far in advance should we book our adventure retreat?
